Pretty solid, but room for improvement
I like the layout of the app, the price is fair, and how the app learns from your feedback. I really enjoy the tips provided during sessions such as "root down through your big toe" or "expand the chest, instead of crunching into your back" these are very helpful!
Area of opportunity:
1. Build the app to work offline. This will include in-app algorithms which build sessions from video clips in the background based on user feedback. I travel abroad now, and have started in China. The internet here is intermittent at best, and expect it to get worse in other countries in SE Asia... If there isnt a decent internet connection for me to download these massive 300mb files, Ill simply stop my subscription. Id suggest including clips of each pose, then building the software to stitch them together, all included in the download. Or least make this an in-app purchase ***with a one-time fee!***
2. Each time I do a session, I give the feedback on rating poses and rating the overall session, yet much of the session seems to repeat between dog down, down dog leg up, vinyasa A, various warrior poses and a couple other moves. Perhaps modifying the algorithms to incorporate more variety would be helpful.
3. Incorporate building your sessions. This should include a drag and drop process that gives loose instruction as to which type of move should come next ie. Obviously you cant go from supine to headstand, but one may go from childs pose to headstand.
4. Allow for choosing between different types/styles of yoga.
